Em'z Salon ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle your information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
1. What we collect
- Bookings: your name, contact number, chosen services, date and time.
- Messages to the admin (Contact page): your name, contact number, optional email address, subject and message.
- Feedback and reviews: your rating, comment and the name you choose to show. You can post anonymously.
- Basic technical data: information your browser sends to any website, such as device type and pages visited, which our hosting provider may log.
2. How we use it
- To record, confirm, reschedule or cancel your appointment.
- To send you SMS messages about your booking: confirmation, reminders and schedule changes.
- To answer your concerns and, if you gave an email address, reply to you by email.
- To show approved reviews on the website and to improve our services.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who can see it
Your booking and message details are visible to our salon staff and admin so they can serve you. We use trusted service providers only to run the site: our web hosting provider, an SMS service to deliver booking texts, and an email service to deliver replies and notifications. They receive only what is needed to do their job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
4. Information stored in your browser
To let you view and manage your bookings without creating an account, this website saves your booking details and a private booking token in your browser (local storage). It is not shared with other websites. Clearing your browser data or switching devices means you will no longer be able to manage that booking from that browser, but our staff can still see it. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep booking and message records only as long as needed to provide our service, keep business records and resolve any questions or disputes. Records we no longer need are deleted.
6. How we protect it
Access to booking and customer records is limited to authorized staff who sign in with a passkey. We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, but no website or online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may object to how we use it. You can also cancel or reschedule your own booking from the Bookings page. To make a request, message us on the Contact page, call 0966 933 6880, or email emz.salon28@gmail.com.
8. Children
This website is meant for customers who are 18 or older. If you are younger, please have a parent or guardian make the booking for you.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
